Specialist TA Location: Hayes, Hillingdon. Role: Teaching assistant specialising in physical difficulties
Duration: September start required, both full time and part time opportunities available. Normal working hours from 8:30 am to 3:30pm.
Pay: GBP65 – 75 per day (paid on a weekly basis)

Children with physical health needs thrive from having exceptional hard-working staff with an in-depth and open understanding of physical health support. We are currently looking for people with knowledge of helping students who suffer with physical disabilities. Teaching assistants will work 1:1 and in small groups delivering behaviour and education support programmes.
The schools we work for are looking for Teaching assistants who have knowledge of working with children with physical disabilities who are:
- Open to schools with young people who have been unable to learn in mainstream schools due to them struggling to keep up with the fast-paced environment of mainstream schools.
- Dedicated and consistent as building and maintaining positive relationships is vital.
- An understanding approach to those who suffer from physical disabilities.
- A warm and patient approach.

Essential criteria: Youth work or school behaviour mentoring background or experience working with children/young people with physical disabilities or in education.
Desirable criteria: Mental health awareness training, Special Needs experience, Team Teach or PBS or Dyslexia training courses.
